1. Introduction
1.1 Overview. PRNV Services (“PRNV Services”, “the Platform”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates a technology-enabled digital platform that connects independent service professionals, skilled technicians, and business entities with customers across India through online listing, advertising, and discovery services. This Consent Policy (“Policy”) explains how PRNV Services obtains, records, manages, and respects the consent of individuals who access or interact with our digital platforms and services.
1.2 Commitment. PRNV Services is committed to transparency, responsible information practices, privacy protection, and the lawful processing of information. We believe that meaningful, informed consent is a cornerstone of trust between the Platform and its users, and we have designed our consent practices to be clear, fair, and respectful of every user’s right to control how their information is collected and used.
1.3 Acceptance. By accessing, browsing, registering on, or otherwise using any digital platform or service operated by PRNV Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and that, where applicable, you provide your consent in the manner described herein. Where the law requires consent for a specific activity, such consent will be sought separately and distinctly in accordance with this Policy.
2. Purpose of This Consent Policy
This Policy has been prepared to articulate, in clear and accessible terms, the principles and practices that govern the obtaining and management of consent across all digital platforms and services operated by PRNV Services. In particular, the purpose of this Policy is to:
• explain the circumstances in which PRNV Services seeks consent and the manner in which consent is obtained;
• describe the categories of consent applicable to the use of the Platform and its associated services;
• set out the rights available to users in relation to giving, managing, and withdrawing consent;
• demonstrate PRNV Services’ commitment to informed, voluntary, specific, and unambiguous consent practices;
• describe how PRNV Services maintains records of consent and safeguards the information it processes; and
• affirm PRNV Services’ compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulations governing consent, electronic records, and the protection of personal information.
3. Scope and Applicability
3.1 Platforms covered. This Policy applies to all digital platforms, properties, and services operated, owned, or controlled by PRNV Services, including without limitation the following:
(a) the PRNV Services website at www.prnvservices.com and any associated sub-domains;
(b) the PRNV Services mobile applications across all supported operating systems;

(d) all online services, tools, and functionalities made available through the Platform;
(e) communication channels operated or facilitated by PRNV Services, including electronic mail, SMS, in-app messaging, push notifications, and similar means;
(f) digital content and technology platforms developed, hosted, or maintained by PRNV Services; and

3.2 Persons covered. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including customers, service professionals, technicians, business partners, and any other individual or entity that accesses or interacts with the Platform or its services.
3.3 Relationship with other policies. This Policy supplements, and should be read together with, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms & Conditions, and other policies published by PRNV Services. This Policy does not limit any rights or obligations set out in those policies or under applicable law.
4. Definitions
For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below. Terms not defined here shall carry the meaning given to them under applicable Indian law or in the associated policies of PRNV Services.
“Consent” means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of a user’s agreement, signified through a clear affirmative action or statement, to the collection, use, or processing of information for one or more identified purposes.
“Platform” means collectively, all digital platforms, websites, mobile applications, customer portals, online services, communication channels, digital content and technology platforms, and information systems and databases operated by PRNV Services.
“User” means any individual or entity that accesses, browses, registers on, or otherwise interacts with the Platform, including customers, service professionals, technicians, and business partners.
“Personal Information” means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual that is collected or processed through the Platform, as understood under applicable Indian law.
“Processing” means any operation performed on information, including collection, recording, storage, use, organisation, retrieval, disclosure, or erasure.
“Electronic Consent” means consent provided through electronic means, including by clicking, checking, tapping, toggling, or otherwise affirmatively indicating agreement through a digital interface.
“Withdrawal of Consent” means the act by which a user revokes previously given consent, in whole or in part, through the mechanisms described in this Policy.
“Applicable Law” means all laws, rules, regulations, notifications, and guidelines of the Republic of India that govern consent, electronic records, information practices, and the protection of personal information, as in force from time to time.
5. Nature of Platform Services
5.1 Technology-enabled platform. PRNV Services is a technology-enabled digital advertising, listing, visibility, and discovery platform. The Platform enables independent service professionals, technicians, and business entities to publish digital listings and profiles, and enables customers to discover, view, and directly connect with such listed professionals and entities.
5.2 Facilitative role. PRNV Services provides the digital infrastructure that facilitates discovery and direct connection between users. The Platform is not a party to any engagement, arrangement, or interaction that users may enter into with one another, and PRNV Services does not provide, perform, supervise, or guarantee the underlying services that listed professionals or entities may offer.
5.3 Information-centred operations. Because the Platform operates through digital interfaces, accounts, communications, and listings, the responsible handling of information is central to its operation. Consent is therefore an essential part of how PRNV Services collects and uses information to deliver, maintain, and improve its services.
PLATFORM CHARACTER PRNV Services positions itself as a transparent, technology-enabled platform built on responsible information practices. The Platform is designed to give users meaningful control over how their information is collected and used, and to ensure that consent is obtained lawfully, fairly, and transparently. |
6. Compliance Commitment
PRNV Services is committed to conducting its consent and information practices in accordance with applicable laws of the Republic of India. Without limitation, PRNV Services endeavours to align its practices with:
• the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, governing electronic records and reasonable information-handling practices;
• the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, in relation to the lawful processing of personal information and the principles of free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent;
• the Indian Contract Act, 1872, in relation to the formation and validity of agreements concluded through electronic means;
• the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, in relation to transparency and fair digital practices; and
• all other applicable Indian statutes, rules, regulations, notifications, and guidelines in force from time to time.
PRNV Services reviews its consent practices on an ongoing basis to maintain alignment with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Principles of Consent
PRNV Services obtains and manages consent in accordance with the following guiding principles. These principles inform the design of every consent mechanism used across the Platform:
• Lawfulness and fairness — consent is sought and processed lawfully, fairly, and in a manner that respects the interests of users.
• Transparency — users are provided with clear and accessible information about the purposes for which consent is sought.
• Purpose limitation — consent is obtained for identified purposes and is not used for unrelated purposes without further consent.
• User control — users retain the ability to give, manage, and withdraw consent through accessible mechanisms.
• Accountability — PRNV Services maintains appropriate records of consent and takes responsibility for its consent practices.
The sections that follow describe the specific characteristics of valid consent as practised by PRNV Services.
8. Informed Consent
8.1 Clarity of information. Before seeking consent, PRNV Services endeavours to provide users with clear, concise, and accessible information about the nature of the information being collected, the purposes for which it will be used, and the categories of recipients with whom it may be shared, where applicable.
8.2 Meaningful understanding. PRNV Services seeks to present consent requests in plain language and in a manner that enables users to make a meaningful and informed choice. Where reasonably practicable, links to relevant policies are provided at the point of consent.
8.3 No hidden practices. PRNV Services does not seek consent through misleading, deceptive, or obscured means. Consent requests are presented openly and are not bundled in a manner that prevents users from understanding what they are agreeing to.
9. Voluntary Consent
9.1 Free choice. Consent obtained by PRNV Services is voluntary and freely given. Users are not coerced, pressured, or unfairly induced into providing consent.
9.2 Granular options. Where multiple purposes are involved, PRNV Services endeavours to offer users the ability to consent to each purpose separately, rather than requiring a single, undifferentiated consent for unrelated activities, to the extent reasonably practicable.
9.3 Right to decline. Users may decline to provide consent for activities that are not essential to the core functioning of the Platform. The consequences of declining or withdrawing consent are described in Section 20 of this Policy.
10. Specific and Purpose-Based Consent
10.1 Identified purposes. Consent is sought for specific, identified purposes that are communicated to the user at the time consent is requested. PRNV Services does not seek open-ended or unlimited consent.
10.2 Compatible use. Information collected on the basis of consent is used only for the purposes for which consent was given, or for purposes that are reasonably compatible and consistent with applicable law.
10.3 Fresh consent for new purposes. Where PRNV Services proposes to use information for a materially new or different purpose, fresh consent will be sought where required by applicable law.
11. Clear and Unambiguous Consent
11.1 Affirmative action. Consent is obtained through a clear affirmative action or statement that signifies the user’s agreement, such as clicking, checking, tapping, toggling, or otherwise affirmatively indicating acceptance through a digital interface.
11.2 No ambiguity. PRNV Services designs its consent mechanisms so that the act of giving consent is distinguishable from other actions, and so that silence, inactivity, or pre-ticked boxes are not treated as consent where applicable law requires an affirmative indication.
11.3 Distinct from other terms. Where required, consent for the processing of information is presented as a distinct and identifiable choice, separate from general acceptance of unrelated terms.
12. Electronic Consent and Digital Acceptance
12.1 Validity of electronic consent. Given the digital nature of the Platform, consent is ordinarily obtained and recorded through electronic means. PRNV Services treats electronic consent and digital acceptance as valid and binding, consistent with the recognition of electronic records and electronic signatures under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the validity of electronic agreements under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
12.2 Mechanisms of electronic acceptance. Electronic consent may be obtained through one or more of the following mechanisms, among others:
(a) clicking or tapping an “I Agree”, “Accept”, “Continue”, or similar button;
(b) selecting or checking a consent checkbox or toggling a consent setting;
(c) completing a registration, account creation, or service request flow that clearly indicates consent;
(d) interacting with a consent banner, notice, or preference centre; and
(e) any other affirmative electronic action through which agreement is clearly signified.
12.3 Records of electronic consent. PRNV Services maintains appropriate records of electronic consent in accordance with Section 22 of this Policy, in order to demonstrate that consent was obtained.
13. Collection and Use of Information
13.1 Information collected. In the course of operating the Platform, PRNV Services may collect information provided directly by users (such as account, profile, and listing information) and information generated through use of the Platform (such as technical, device, and usage information), in each case subject to applicable consent and to the Privacy Policy.
13.2 Purposes of use. Information may be used, subject to consent where required, for purposes including the creation and management of accounts and listings; facilitation of discovery and direct connection between users; delivery of platform functionality; communication of service-related notices; user support; security and integrity of the Platform; analytics and improvement of services; and compliance with applicable law.
13.3 Reliance on consent. Where the processing of information is based on consent, such processing is carried out only to the extent of, and for the purposes covered by, the consent provided. For further detail on information practices, users are directed to the Privacy Policy.
14. Communication and Notification Consent
14.1 Service and transactional communications. To operate the Platform effectively, PRNV Services may send service-related and transactional communications, such as account notifications, verification messages, security alerts, and updates relating to a user’s requests or activity. These communications are necessary for the functioning of the services a user has chosen to use.
14.2 Promotional and informational communications. Where a user consents, PRNV Services may send informational or promotional communications relating to platform features and updates. Such communications are sent on the basis of consent and may be managed or declined by the user as described in Section 21.
14.3 Channels. Communications may be delivered through electronic channels such as electronic mail, SMS, in-app messages, and push notifications. Users may manage their communication preferences for non-essential communications through the mechanisms made available on the Platform.
15. Service Request and Account Management Consent
15.1 Account creation. When a user creates an account or profile on the Platform, the user consents to the collection and use of the information necessary to establish and maintain that account, consistent with this Policy and the Privacy Policy.
15.2 Service requests. When a user submits a request, enquiry, or other instruction through the Platform, the user consents to the processing of that request and to any associated communications reasonably required to action it.
15.3 Profile and listing management. Users who maintain listings or profiles consent to the publication and display of the information they choose to include, and to the management of such information through the tools provided on the Platform. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit.
16. Cookies and Similar Technologies Consent
16.1 Use of cookies and similar technologies. The Platform may use cookies, local storage, pixels, web beacons, software development kits, and similar technologies (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”) to enable core functionality, remember preferences, measure usage, and support the security and performance of the Platform.
16.2 Categories. Tracking Technologies may include strictly necessary technologies essential to platform operation; functional technologies that remember preferences; and analytics technologies that help measure and improve usage. Strictly necessary technologies are essential and cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
16.3 Consent and management. Where required, consent for non-essential Tracking Technologies is obtained through a consent notice or banner, and users may manage their preferences through that mechanism or through their browser or device settings. For further detail, users are directed to the Cookie Policy.
17. Consent for Customer Support Interactions
17.1 Support communications. When a user contacts PRNV Services for support or assistance, the user consents to the collection and use of the information necessary to respond to and resolve the request.
17.2 Records of interactions. PRNV Services may maintain records of support interactions, including messages and correspondence, and, where applicable and disclosed, may record calls or chats for quality, training, and verification purposes. Such records are handled in accordance with this Policy and the Privacy Policy.
17.3 Purpose of support records. Support records are used to provide assistance, improve service quality, maintain the integrity of the Platform, and meet applicable legal or compliance obligations.
18. Consent for Feedback and Communications
18.1 Voluntary feedback. Users may choose to provide feedback, ratings, reviews, or suggestions through the Platform. By submitting such feedback, the user consents to its collection and to its use in accordance with this Policy and the Privacy Policy.
18.2 Use of feedback. Feedback may be used to improve platform features, enhance user experience, support transparency, and inform the development of services. Where feedback is displayed publicly on the Platform, it is displayed in accordance with the applicable terms and policies.
18.3 Surveys and engagement. From time to time, PRNV Services may invite users to participate in surveys or engagement activities. Participation is voluntary and based on the user’s consent.
19. Withdrawal of Consent
19.1 Right to withdraw. Users have the right to withdraw consent previously given, in whole or in part, at any time, in respect of processing that is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
19.2 How to withdraw. Consent may be withdrawn through the preference and settings tools made available on the Platform, by following opt-out instructions provided in communications, or by contacting PRNV Services using the details in Section 30. PRNV Services endeavours to make the process of withdrawing consent as straightforward as the process of giving it.
19.3 Continuing legal bases. Withdrawal of consent does not affect any processing that PRNV Services is permitted or required to carry out on a legal basis other than consent, including processing necessary to comply with applicable law or to maintain records as described in this Policy.
20. Consequences of Withdrawal of Consent
20.1 Effect on services. Certain services, features, communications, or functionalities of the Platform may depend upon specific forms of consent in order to operate effectively. Where a user withdraws consent that is necessary for a particular service or feature, the availability or functionality of that service, feature, or communication may be affected, reduced, or discontinued.
20.2 Communication of impact. Where reasonably practicable, PRNV Services will inform users of the likely impact of withdrawing a particular consent before or at the time the withdrawal takes effect, so that users can make an informed decision.
20.3 Essential operations. Some processing is essential to the core operation of the Platform and to the delivery of services that a user has actively chosen to use. Withdrawal of consent in respect of such essential processing may make it impossible for PRNV Services to continue providing the relevant service.
21. Updating and Managing Consent Preferences
21.1 Preference management. PRNV Services provides users with accessible mechanisms to review, update, and manage their consent preferences, which may include account settings, communication preference controls, and consent or cookie preference centres.
21.2 Keeping preferences current. Users are encouraged to keep their consent preferences and contact information current so that PRNV Services can respect their choices and communicate with them effectively.
21.3 Effect of changes. Changes to consent preferences take effect prospectively and within a reasonable period after they are submitted. PRNV Services endeavours to give effect to such changes promptly through its systems and processes.
22. Record Keeping and Proof of Consent
22.1 Maintenance of records. PRNV Services maintains records of consent where appropriate in order to demonstrate that consent was obtained, the purposes for which it was given, and the manner and time of its collection.
22.2 Nature of records. Such records may include the version of the notice or policy presented at the time of consent, the consent mechanism used, and associated electronic records, consistent with the recognition of electronic records under applicable law.
22.3 Retention. Consent records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which consent was given, or as required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or evidentiary obligations, and are thereafter erased, anonymised, or archived in accordance with applicable law and PRNV Services’ internal standards.
23. Data Protection and Confidentiality
23.1 Responsible handling. PRNV Services is committed to handling information responsibly and to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the information it processes, consistent with applicable Indian law and with the Privacy Policy.
23.2 Confidentiality. Information collected on the basis of consent is treated as confidential and is accessed and used only by authorised personnel and service providers who require such access for legitimate, identified purposes connected to the operation of the Platform.
23.3 Purpose-bound processing. PRNV Services processes information for the purposes for which it was collected and consented to, and does not disclose information except as permitted by this Policy, the Privacy Policy, or applicable law.
24. Security Measures
24.1 Reasonable security practices. PRNV Services implements reasonable security practices and procedures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, use, alteration, disclosure, or loss, consistent with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and with internationally recognised information-security standards.
24.2 Layered safeguards. Security measures may include administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards such as access controls, secure storage, encryption in transit where applicable, logging and monitoring, and periodic review of security practices.
24.3 No absolute guarantee. While PRNV Services takes reasonable measures to protect information, no internet-based or digital system can be guaranteed to be entirely secure. PRNV Services does not warrant absolute security, but is committed to responding to security matters responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
